Client: Patagonia Honolulu
Description: For this project, 5 O’ahu based artists were paired with a local non profit to create an art piece that would be auctioned off at the opening of the new Patagonia location in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was paired with The Ko’olau Mountains Watershed Partnership, an organization made up of community volunteers and workers who help to maintain the health our natural water ecosystem by digging out invasive plant species and helping to cultivate our native plants like Ohia, which are integral to maintaining our natural water systems. This design went all the way to final before we ultimately decided on going in another design direction. But I was really happy with how this “hand cycle” turned out, so I thought it would be worth it to share.
