ART THAT GIVES BACK
Art That Gives Back is a donation program that celebrates “activism in art”. Designs here are created specifically to create awareness and to raise funds towards specific causes. At Punky Aloha Studio, we recognize the importance of utilizing the resources we have been afforded from our community support and don’t, for one second, take for granted the responsibility that comes with it. These are art prints that give back to causes that I believe are worth donating to, and I hope you feel the same. The organizations that I donate to may change from time to time, but will always be updated in the prints description space so that we maintain complete transparency.
50% of the proceeds from this print will be donated to Kuhiawaho. Kuhiawaho is a grassroots organization located in the ahupuaʻa of Waiawa, and in the larger moku of ʻEwa. Kuhiawaho has evolved into a puʻuhonua, a safe gathering place, for extended ʻohana and community to re-connect to ʻāina, to learn, and to perpetuate Native Hawaiian practices. More information about Kuhiawaho can be found at www.kuhiawaho.org
